Reading Time: 2 minutes When working in Nashville and anywhere else in the music business, one name that always comes up when speaking of vocal coaching is Brett Manning. He has trained many well-known music artists including Taylor Swift, Hayley Williams (Paramore), Keith Urban, Leona Lewis, Poppy, Luke Bryan, John Michael Montgomery, Lauren Mayberry, Miley Cyrus, TJ Harris, Wes Hampton, and Rob Chapman; just to name a few. Brett has also coached several Grammy and CMA Award winners, as well as recent Broadway casts of Les Misérables, Jekyll & Hyde, and Elton John’s Aida.

This particular night, I was working the Palladium where several now bigtime artists were performing and showcasing. The big event was handling one of the hottest new performance groups around. Their stage setup was one of the most elaborate I had seen to date.

A brand new state of the art masterpiece of a studio that would wow just about any mainstream recording artist. I was invited through a friend to attend a Mix Magazine (the magazine for the recording industry) photoshoot and eventual cover story for this beautiful facility.
